A Virginia Early America coastal Waterways Collection

These hats are my ode to America’s historic seaside communities and maritime heritage, celebrating 250 years of America’s beloved coastal towns. They bring back the nostalgic Dennison paper party hats that delighted generations past. Each design begins with my original artwork and celebrates the lighthouses, beaches, gardens, harbors, sailing traditions, and coastal landmarks that make these places so special.

The Virginia Collection

A Tribute to Virginia’s Historic Coast

Virginia’s coast is where America’s history meets the sea. Stretching from the Chesapeake Bay to the Atlantic Ocean, its shores have welcomed explorers, guided mariners, witnessed the birth of a nation, and inspired generations who have lived and worked along its waterways. Historic lighthouses, colonial settlements, sailing traditions, peaceful marshes, and broad sandy beaches tell the story of a coastline rich in beauty and significance.

The Virginia Collection celebrates this remarkable heritage through handcrafted paper hats inspired by Virginia’s most treasured coastal destinations. From the guiding light of Cape Henry to the tranquil beauty of the Chesapeake Bay and the enduring legacy of Colonial Williamsburg, each design is thoughtfully created as an artistic keepsake—an ode to one of America’s most historic and beloved coastal regions, where maritime tradition, craftsmanship, and history continue to inspire.
