Victorian “Fan of Forget me nots ” silk Valentines Pallet©

One of a kind. Content protected. This large and lightweight Valentines artist pallet boards were inspired by the antique ones that were once sold in large picture shadow boxes. It’s a delightful Victorian item. Made from antique 1870 woven silk upholstered over hand cut wood frame.  Upholstered and Trimmed in antique edging and gathered crepe  trimmed in teal. On the cover is an antique circa 1890 silk painted fan. The original tortoise shell handle. Trimmed in Dresden gold and loads of “forget me nots”. Antique teeny diecuts from Dresden Germany grace the fan and top. They are exquisite and rare.   Wonderful Valentine display!!14” tall and 9” wide. Lightweight to hang, display on tripod.
