Exceptional Large Tragant/Sugar Floral Easter Egg

The old German Easter egg bakers craft of making and molding sugar into Tragant  figures is an art form that is lost. There are still gorgeous pieces available from over 100 years ago    I have loaded the top with gorgeous gorgeous vibrant sugar flowers  they are wired and adhered as a trellis design that wraps around this egg  it stands on its bottom in an antique ormolu stand!  This egg comes with the traditional small ormolu stand as seen in past eggs.(see picture of the egg in blue and white) They are antique. This particular stand does not come with this egg. If you are interested it can be sold separately. Opens in the middle  the 7 Easter rabbit designs around the egg are hand molded and attached  they are made from my antique German molds   

They will last for 100 years if kept out of humidity and away from animals. Colorful and sweet. I've taken a large 18" wide imported German paper mache egg and stripped it down. It was labor intensive and costly in materials BUT so so worth it in the end  it’s really a gorgeous piece in person  the colors are bright in the photograph but they really are in person too!  

To have a traditional German style egg take center stage on the sideboard or table. It's gorgeous. The true color is a watermelon pink. Hard to capture the beauty. I find the larger the item, the harder to capture its intricacies. I so hope you can see it!! Measures about 15"-16" tall and wide. Dresden gold trims. Rhinestone edges just sparkle and catch the light like crystal. Hand printed blocked paper was used as the cross around the egg. It is imported and more of a fabric than paper.  Shipping will need to be in a large box. I will work on you with shipping and return any extra overage.
