Victorian “Heavens Flowers” silk Valentines Pallet©

One of a kind. Content protected. This large and lightweight Valentines artist pallet boards were inspired by the antique ones that were once sold in large picture shadow boxes. It’s a delightful Victorian item. Made from antique 1870 woven silk upholstered over hand cut wood frame.  Upholstered and Trimmed in antique edging and Dennison crepe floral trimmed in gold. On the cover is an antique German angel Diecut from 1890-1900. A gorgeous mint original. The angel is dropping flowers from heaven onto the Dresden hand and floral sleeve below. The hand is a celluloid hand and fan from 1900s. Mint condition. The fan has original silk edging.  Silk flowers from the 1900s finish off the sleeves. 11”. Lightweight to hang, display on tripod.
