The Owl & Moon Halloween Hat

A wonderfully theatrical nod to the fanciful paper party hats of the early twentieth century, this handcrafted Halloween hat features a magnificent wide-eyed owl beneath a glowing harvest moon and deep midnight-blue sky.

Rich shades of burnt orange, tobacco brown, black, ochre and gold give the owl extraordinary depth, while dark chocolate paper crepe create a wonderfully exaggerated winged silhouette. Golden ochre ribbon bows finish each side, lending just enough elegance to all that Halloween mischief.

The dramatic moon rises behind the owl like an old Halloween storybook illustration, while the small VW medallion at the center marks the piece as part of the Victoria William Collection.
