Antique German Victorian large Santa

This impressive Santa figure stands 43 inches tall and is created using antique German molds. Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, his hands and face are replicas of a rare circa 1900 German Santa originally made in Sonneberg, Germany. The Santa's features have been meticulously molded and hand-painted to closely resemble the original, including remarkably realistic eyes. He is adorned in a stunning snow-glittered German Mohair shawl and red hand-dyed flannel attire. The accompanying feather tree is embellished with beaded garlands and real Marzipan fruit (please keep away from animals). The Santa carries a large cone reeded basket overflowing with antique and vintage toys, as well as wrapped packages. The doll included is antique and original to the card. Additionally, there is a handmade valise candy container fashioned from antique holly paper. Santa is securely mounted on a solid, heavy wood oak stand that has been treated to look authentically aged with a thick layer of German glass covering. His distinctive sheep's wool beard adds to his charm. The set also includes a handcrafted boxwood advent wreath, adorned with real antique German gold mercury glass garland double looped and genuine German candle bases. The wreath measures around 11-12 inches in circumference and is a valuable addition on its own, typically selling for $300.00 separately.
