Inspired by an American Tradition
Inspired by the early American paper party hats made famous by the Dennison Manufacturing Company, the Victoria William Collection celebrates the artistry and joyful spirit of these beloved vintage novelties while honoring America’s rich coastal heritage.
Each hat is individually handcrafted using archival-quality materials and features original artwork inspired by historic lighthouses, maritime traditions, and cherished seaside destinations. Designed to become keepsakes for generations, they are both works of folk art and celebrations of 250 years of American coastal living.
Each hat measures approximately 14” wide × 10” tall and is available in two editions: individual hats may vary slightly
Option 1 – Collector’s Display Edition
- Fully illustrated front
- Coordinating partially illustrated reverse
- Finished with luxurious satin taffeta ribbons for hanging or display
Option 2 – Classic Honeycomb Edition
- Fully illustrated front and back
- Traditional honeycomb paper insert, allowing the hat to be worn in the style of the festive paper hats popular during the early 20th century
- Finished with luxurious satin taffeta ribbons
Because every Victoria William Collection hat is individually handcrafted, production is intentionally limited. For orders of more than three hats, please contact me prior to purchasing so I can confirm availability and production time.
Proudly handcrafted in the USA.
Completed in 1858, the Fire Island Lighthouse has stood for more than 165 years as one of America’s most recognizable coastal beacons. Rising 168 feet above the dunes on Long Island’s south shore, it guided countless ships safely along the Atlantic and into New York Harbor, serving as a vital landmark for mariners navigating one of the nation’s busiest waterways.
Though its light was extinguished in 1974, public efforts to preserve this beloved landmark led to its restoration and relighting just two years later. Today, Fire Island Lighthouse stands as a symbol of American perseverance, maritime heritage, and the enduring spirit of those who have lived and worked along Long Island’s coast. It remains one of the nation’s most treasured lighthouses, welcoming visitors from around the world while honoring generations of lighthouse keepers and seafarers.
